The Wildebeest Migration is a dramatic story of life in the wild. It takes place within Kenya and is the greatest wildlife show on earth. Between the open plains of the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara, thousands of wildebeest and zebras migrate to greener pastures as the seasons change and the circle of life and death continues.
This culminates in the spectacular crossing of the Mara River where pressure from thousands of wildebeests push the single animal at the bank of the river to take a plunge and all the rest will follow at that exact point into the river and swim across to the other side.
Predators follow the Wildebeest Migration closely, waiting for an opportunity to strike weak prey as they make their way into different territories.
