Based on the highly successful
SMT***0 format, the Apollo
additionally brings an attractive touch screen interface with
unique
“Touch-to-Adjust” logic. Put simply, rather than complicated
menus and virtual buttons that are found on many touch screen
thermostats, the Smart Temp Apollo has redefined thermostat use
by simply requesting the user touch whatever it is they wish to
adjust. The Apollo LCD will then reform the layout to show only
what ‘s needed to complete the task at hand.
Should you wish to adjust the
room temperature, simply touch the
large temperature reading in the center of the display and the
Apollo’s display will transform to show only the relevant
information in a clear and precise manner to assist with setting
the desired temperature. When you wish to set the time, simply
touch the clock and again the Apollo will guide you through the
process of setting the clock. No fuss, no need for manuals and no
confusion.
The simplicity of use is
not all that sets the Apollo thermostat apart
from others. This thermostat also offers real flexibility in
function.
The Apollo is equally adept at controlling a simple, single stage
gas
heating system in a home as it is controlling a three stage
cooling
system in a large commercial office. Setup in most cases takes
only
a few moments.
Various options further add to
the Apollo’s capabilities and appeal.
Attractive coloured frames are available so that the room’s
decor
can be perfectly matched. Remote temperature sensors can be
used to provide better temperature control when the Apollo, for
whatever reason, can’t be mounted in the perfect location.
Outside air temperature sensors not only provide information on
the conditions outside , this information is also used by the
Apollo
to better control the heating and cooling system attached to
it.
