The Schottky Power Rectifier employs the Schottky Barrier principle with a barrier metal that produces optimal forward voltage drop−reverse current tradeoff. Ideally suited for low voltage, high frequency rectification, or as a free wheeling and polarity protection diodes in surface mount applications where compact size and weight are critical to the system. This package provides an alternative to the leadless *4 MELF style package.
