1, Special for open-field. Suitable for thin planting in distance
of *5cm by *8cm. Reserve **3 plants each hole. In Chaoshan area,
sow from Apr. to early Aug. Other place should consult to local
climate for best planting period.
2, For sowing method, mainly direct sowing, or transplanting.
3, Fertilization. Supply ***0kg of organic manure and *5kg of
compound fertilizer as base manure per mu. Supply less water
in early period. Top dressing nitrogen fertilizer once after each
harvest
during the podding acme, continue for 3
times, using 7.5kg of urea per acre each time. Because of the
nitrogen fixation of root nodule, top dressing as less nitrogen
fertilizer as possible in early period, so as to prevent excessive
growth.
4, Build shelf. When the seedling grows to be *0cm high, build
shelf in time, better by A-bracket type. Lead vines onto shelf
after they spread. At the same time, pay attention to prevent pests
and diseases: cabbage worm in early period before blossom and pod
borer and other borer in podding acme, using germ pesticide and
Pyrethroids mainly.
