It is produced by addition of alloy Ni, Cr, Mo, Mn, etc. Bainitic nodular cast iron rolls are characterized by acicular unit (pearlite+little martensite) matrix with higher strength and toughness than that of pearlitic nodular rolls. This kind of roll can be produced by static casting or centrifugal casting.
Application: Square billet/Slab pusher, large and medium structural steel, wire rod and narrow-band strip mill.
