INTRODUCTION
The pump is a compressed air
driver pump used to transfer the refrigerant from refrigerant tank
to the refrigerant charging machines in the case that they are far
apart.
The compression ratio is 3.*5 times
the compressed air pressure.
2.2.
DESCRIPTION
The pump has a dual effect
refrigerant cylinder, driven by a dual effect air
cylinder.
The refrigerant pipes are terminated
with check valves for the correct working, and a manometer is
located close to the output quick connection in order to check the
output pressure.
A safety overpressure valve is
present on the output side in order to recirculate the gas in case
of misoperations in compressed air adjustment.
In the compressed air circuit is
present a pressure regulator with the relevant manometer, in order
to adjust and check the correct operation of the unit. A
lubrication unit is used to lubricate only the air cylinder, in
order to guarantee the correct movement.
A special filter is located at the
output side of the air cylinder driver valve. This is to avoid that
the nebulized oil goes out from the silencers. The residual oil is
collected in the bottom part of this filter. The user has only to
check the level regularly and remove the oil when the level is too
high.
It is
important to guarantee the correct liquid gas supply to the PTG.
Make sure the inlet piping is correctly dimensioned. It is a
correct procedure to add a gas filter in the inlet line, to
guarantee that no dirty can go inside the pump, causing problems in
its operation.
