This experimental system can be used to conduct two experiments, optical image addition/subtraction and image differentiation. Image addition and subtraction are optical operations in coherent optics and are one of the approaches for image recognition. This experiment kit uses a sine grating as the spatial filter for the implementation of image addition and subtraction. Optical image differentiation uses optical correlation method to undertake differentiation process on images so that the spatial sketch of the image can be revealed. Experiment Content 1.
