Canaflecha is a vegetal fiber most commontly worked by the Zenu tribe and its descendants. Depending on the color of the accesory being made, this material is dyed and then braided by hand. The senior members of the tribe are known for making the most complex and intricate braids because of their knowledge and experience with artisanal work. Each canaflecha bracelet is unique, therefore, there is a great variety of colors and woven designs. For an order the colors can be chosen or assorted.
