International Standards:EN**0 A CS 1 *8 AC H5 GB/T ********9 F4A*-H*8A AWS A5.******4 F6A*-EL8 F5A*-H*8MnA F7A*-EM*2K Introduction WD-SJ**1 is an agglomerated calcium-silicate type soldering flux for submerged arc welding with a basicity index of BIIW 1.0. The flux is spherical granular, grain size is from *0 to *0 ***** has excellent welding technology properties. Regularly shaped welds are deposited without reduction of area or interface notches. Slag detachability is good. A short slag is produced, thus allowing circumferential welding on small-diameter workpiedes without the risk of uncontrolled slag. WD-SJ**1 can be welded with AC or DC at up to ***0A (single-wire process). The production of large pipes (especially spiral pipe welding) is a typical application for this flux. Relatively high manganese pick-up is obtained, thus allowing the flux be used with wires with a low Mn content. The special production method ensures that the flux has low moisture pick-up and granular stability. Flux shall be capable of meeting the applied requirements. As the bulk density is low, so is the consumption rate. Applications Flat butt and fillet welding for frames, bridges, spiral pipes, pressure vessels and ships. Characteristics It has excellent welding technology properties. Regularly shaped welds are deposited without reduction of area or interface notches. Welding defects such as pits and blowholes scarcely occur.Bead is smooth with beautiful appearance.
