Product Description

Surgiclean Fibril AbsorbableOxidized RegeneratedCellulose, as aClass III medical device, is a sterile absorbable hemostat made fromregenerated cellulose fiber. Itswhite or slightly yellow, fixed with medical packaging paper, and is sealed withan aluminum-plastic paper bag.
Surgiclean Fibril Absorbable Oxidized Regenerated Cellulosehas a multi-layer non-woven fabric structure. Shape and layers used can be decided according to the size of the wound andthe operation is simple and convenient.

Indications for Use

As a supporting hemostatic device, this product is suitable for various surgical procedures. It can help control the bleeding of capillaries, veins and small arteries where bleeding can't be well controlled by traditional methods like ligation.

Triple Mechanisms of Hemostasis

Physical hemostasis:

The product has a fluffy structure. It can absorb the water in the blood after encountering blood, increase the viscosity of the blood, and slow down its flow rate; at the same time, the mass of the product increases after absorbing the blood, the volume expands,makingthe bleedingsitecompressed; a gel-like substance will be formed after absorbing blood,and thenblock the bleedingsite.

Chemical hemostasis:

The carboxyl groups in the product are hydrolyzed and ionized to produce anions, which can combine with Fe2+ in hemoglobin to form a browngel, which has a blocking effect on the wound surface. At the same time, the carboxyl group can lower the pH value of the wound surface, activate platelets, and thegel has adhesiveand aggregative effects on platelets, which can form a hemostatic thrombus, thereby speeding up hemostasis.

Directions for Use

Open the aluminum-plastic paper bag and take out Surgiclean Fibril.
