Properties: Light-yellow powder, bitter, nonpoisonous. Specific gravity: 1.***1.*2. Soluble in ethyl. Acetone, acetone, dilute solution of sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate, ethyl alcohol. Not easily soluble in benzene. Insoluble in water and gasoline.
Application: Used accelerator in various rubber products. It is a medium fast primary accelerator for natural and synthetic rubber. Imparts excellent aging properties, when used both alone and in combination with DM, and others, mainly basic accelerators for higher activity.
