Microsilica, also called as silica fume, silica dust, which is a
by-product of producing silicon metal or ferrosilicon alloys.
Microsilica consists primarily of amorphous (non-crystalline)
silicon dioxide (SiO2). Because of its fine particles, large
surface area, and the high SiO2 content,
Microsilica Performance in Cement
Microsilica can fill the pores of cement particles and generate gel
with hydration products and then magnesium oxide
reacts with alkaline gel material.
Microsilica is used as an admixture for cement-based
concrete,mortar,refractory castable. When you mixed the
proportion
amount of microsilica in cement-based concrete, mortar, refractory
