years of history handling export to European and
Asian markets. Polar Seafood has own factory
trawlers and land based factories in Greenland and
Denmark.

Products
provided:
Cold water
shrimp (Pandalus Borealis) caught in the
pristine waters of Greenland and Canada. ***3 Polar Seafood
obtained MSC (Marine Stewardship
Council) certification for cold water shrimp.

Raw head-on
shell-on, cold water
shrimp, frozen on board our own
trawlers. Packing in 1 kg boxes mainly for the exclusive Japanese
sushi market, size fx. *0/**0 pcs/kg.
Cooked head-on
shell-on cold
water shrimp, IQF on board our own
trawlers. Bulk pack of 5 kg. Sizes *0/**0 pcs/kg, **0/**0 pcs/kg,
**0/+ pcs/kg and **0/+ pcs/kg to mention a few.
Cooked and peeled
IQF cold water shrimp, produced at our
two Greenland peeling factories and repacked at our Danish factory,
Naajaq Seafood. Sizes supplied are fx. ******0 pcs/lbs. packed in
bags of **0 gr for retail and ******0 pcs/lbs. in 2,5 kg bags for
catering/retail sector. Naajaq also produces shrimp
in brine mainly for the retail market in
Scandinavia, Germany and Italy.

Greenland
halibut (Reinhardtius Hippoglossoides) have
recent years become increasingly important to Polar Seafood and the
company possess a significant share of the Greenland quota ensuring
stable supply. This high-class
product has a firm texture that is highly
appreciated by European, Japanese, Taiwanese and Chinese consumers
and is supplied headed and gutted as well as skin-on/skin-off
fillets for wholesale market and retail market.

Snow Crab (Chionoecetes Opilio) sections caught
in Greenland and Canada is also a product provided in significant
quantities – Polar Seafood took part in this line of business
back in mid**0’s and our Greenland factory provides a stable
quantity every year. Cooked as well as raw
sections are supplied in 9 kg bulk
units.

products are manufactured with a high degree on
craftsmanship at our Danish
Smoke-House factory, Polar Salmon.
Smoked
Salmon as well
as smoked Greenland halibut are our
signature products distributed mainly to Scandinavia, Europe and
Australia.
Polar Salmon takes pride in participating in
one of the world’s first state-of-the-art on-shore
organic Salmon farming in Denmark. First
harvest expected by the end of ***3 – product can be
supplied fresh and frozen.
