Alachlor is a selective systemic herbicide that is absorbed
principally by germinating shoots, but also by established
roots,
with translocation throughout the rest of the plant. It
accumulates
mainly in the vegetative parts of the plant rather than in
reproductive parts.
Alachlor has the following uses:
