More important, it re-times, re-shapes, and re-amplifies optical signals during its conversion process in order to ensure high signal-to-noise ratio and long transmission distance. Its robustness and dependability has made it widely welcomed and popular with carriers and ISPs. SPC**0 can either solely work or in pairs. It is of modular design, which is supposed to be inserted into Spacecom's chassis and locally managed through SNMP agent.
