( 1 ) Formula: (C*7H*5COO)2Zn ( 2 ) Properties: Zinc stearate is white or light yellow powder. It is dissolved in hot alcohol, benzene and turpentine, etc; but not in water. It can be decomposed into stearic acid and corresponding salt by strong acid. The product possesses water absorbability in air. ( 3 ) Use: The product is used as PVC stabilizer, rubber lubricant, glazing agent, paint flatting agent and cosmetic material in the textile industry, etc. ( 4 ) Quality standard: items standard Zn2+ *0.2~*1.2% Free acid (C*7H*5COO)**- ≤1.0% Melting point ≥**0°C Heating loss ≤1.0% Size (through *5μm sieve) ≥*9.5% ( 5 ) Package: *0kg/bag, outside pp weaving bag and inside bis-PVC bags. ( 6 ) Store and transport: dampproof and fireproof, accord with nondangerous articles.
