The system is designed to study the strength, deformation and rheological characteristics of frozen soil samples by the method of axisymmetric triaxial compression.

Test methods:

•UU, CU and CD testing schemes;

•triaxial long-term strength tests;

•triaxial creep test.

Parameters:

•short-term and long-term strength limit under triaxial compression;

•internal friction angle;

•specific adhesion;

•deformation modulus;

•lateral expansion coefficient.

Capabilities:

•testing in accordance with GOST, ASTM;

•isotopic and anisotropic consolidation;

•implementation of various stress paths;

•implementation of static and kinematic modes of loading;

•vertical loading with stress and strain control;

•measurement of axial and radial strains of the sample on a local basis;

•automatic tests;
