How the tri-fold works: The rivet body folds into three separate legs, forming the blind-side upset head during installation.

During the installation, the tri-fold rivet forms three large folded legs that distribute the fasteners clamp-load over a large blind side formation. This feature provides maximum support for plastic, woodwork, glass, vehicle dashboard, vehicle venting system, lamp box and the other brittle, soft material applications without deformation, cracking or other damage to the application. It also can be used t the oversized or elongated holes.
