I. Function and advantages of tilting rotary melting furnace
The furnace is specifically used to alter cold aluminum dross to
hot aluminum dross via external heat. Molten aluminum in aluminum
dross can be collected through the rotation of furnace body, and
thus the separation of aluminum dross and molten aluminum can be
successfully achieved. Separated molten aluminum can be directly
casted to crude ingots containing certain amount of aluminum dross,
and it can also be made into finished aluminum ingots via further
refining and collection by holding furnace. With the use of the
equipment, aluminum content of aluminum dross could be decreased to
*5~*7% from *5~*0%, reaching *5 to *0 percent aluminum recovery. On
the other hand, the labor intensity could be significant decreased,
and environmental pollution caused by disposing of aluminum dross
can also be greatly improved owing to the effective control of dust
production during manufacturing process.
2. Basic technical process flow
Cold aluminum dross → Forklift charging system → Tilting rotary
furnace → Rotation and heating → Second charging → Aluminum
dross heating agent (industrial salt)→ Quiescence → Discharging
molten aluminum by tilting furnace body → Dumping aluminum dross
→ Reset equipment
