Tilmicosin is a macrolide antibiotic
synthesized from tylosin. It has a wide spectrum of activity
against Gram-positive and some Gram-negative microorganisms.
Following oral administration, tilmicosin is distributed throughout
the body, especially high level in the lung ,liver and kidney
tissues, and is excreted mainly via bile into the faeces. It s
recommended for treatment and control of respiratory infections in
swine,poultry and cattle.
