Tellurium Copper (C****0, CuTeP, CW**8C), with the content of
tellurium (Te 0.**0.7%), is machinable, if not free cutting /
machining, thus enableing a much higher machining speed than that
of pure copper and ensuring a longer tool life.
On machinability rating scale with **0 for free cutting brass HPb
***3 or C****0, and *0 for pure copper, tellurium copper is rated
as *0.
Tellurium copper also has high electric conductivity (*0% IACS) and
thermal conductivity. It resistant to arc, corrosion and hyrogen
embrittlement. Both cold working or hot forming are
practicable.
Good tellurium copper products can be manufactured only from high
quality billets. Xinju's tellurium copper alloys are all made from
quality *9.*9% copper cathode and *9.*9% tellurium ingots with
phosphorus playing as the deoxidant.
Well equiped laboratories help to maintain the high standard of
product development and expertise. As a result, Xinju is able to
