TAPED ROLLER BEARING

Tapered roller bearings features cup and cone assembly with tapered rollers, where cup is the outer ring and cone consists of inner ring, rollers and cage both having matching tapered raceways on the inner and outer rings. Tapered roller bearings are rolling element bearings designed in a way that can support axial as well as radial loads. The axial load carrying capacity of tapered roller bearings increases with increasing taper angle. The higher the degree of angle, the greater the contact angle.
