What is Sucralose?

Sucralose is the active ingredient in Splenda® sweeteners.
**0 to **0 times as sweet as sugar
Zero Calorie
FDA-approved general-purpose sweetener:

Safe for cooking
Can be used anywhere sugar would be used
High concentration
Less aftertaste than other artificial sweeteners
No carriers or bulking agents such as starch, dextrose, or maltodextrin
Powder:
- 1 gram = 1.7 lbs. of sugar
- 1 oz. = *0 lbs. of sugar
Liquid:
- 1 drops = 1 teaspoons of sugar

Splenda is not truly No Calorie because it typically contains carbohydrate bulking agents. But our sucralose powder and liquid are truly Calorie-free.

Powder vs. Liquid

Pure sucralose is solid. Our sucralose powder is **0% sucralose and nothing else. But any Liquid Sucralose is sucralose dissolved in water and other ingredients. There is no pure liquid sucralose. Our Liquid Sucralose sweetener contains *5% sucralose by weight, so it is about **0 times as sweet as sugar. (Other sellers do not tell you the concentration. We do because it reduces your guesswork when converting to equivalent sugar amount.)

Powder is pure (**0% concentration).
Its easy to add too much sucralose because of its extreme sweetness. Liquid may allow better control because of its lower concentration. The dropper helps, too.
Liquid is at *5% concentration (still a high concentration and needs diluting).
Sucraloses solubility in water is about *5% at room temperature (we tested it at *7% this summer), beyond which it will dissolve no more. Our *5%-concentration liquid is near the upper limit, so any higher or highest concentration will add 2% at best.

Ingredient

Water, sucralose (*5% of total weight), a little of citric acid, sodium benzoate as preservatives( customer can ask to remove other additives)
