We manufacture tension wound spiral crimped fin tubes with or without root soldering with base tube diameters ranging from *2 mm to **0 mm with fin heights between 7 mm to *3 mm. Stainless steels, carbon steels, copper and copper alloy tubes are finned with stainless steel, mild steel and copper fins. Our special finning machines fin tubes in lengths exceeding 6 meters. The strip of metal is continuously tension wound under controlled conditions and if required, simultaneously root soldered. The fin densities are 5 fpi to *2 fpi. Solders used withstand tube wall temperatures up to **5 deg c. Special solders are used for temperatures between **5 c and **6 c.
