The ND series of electronic ballasts for Low Pressure Sodium lamp developed by BESN adopt the SCM CPU digital technique. It insures the intellectual protection of electronic ballasts**-keeping the safety of ballasts and the system , when the voltage output terminal is abnormal. In the process of warm-up, triggering, and ignition, the CPU can reach the best state to protect the electrode of lamp /tubes. This is measured by the microsecond controlling span of system and the height of impulse from the trigger voltage. Thus it doubles the longevity of the electrode for lamp tubes greatly. BESN’s ND series of electronic ballasts for Low Pressure Sodium Lamps adopt the high frequency output solution (&#***4;*0HZ) to eliminate the frequent flashing phenomena caused by low frequency output, and increase the efficiency of tubes by *0%. Owning to the high frequency output solution to increase ballast efficiency, the consumption caused by ballasts itself is greatly reduced by 4% or so. While in low frequency output the ballast consumption is about *0%; if it is used in the same solar energy system , the efficiency increased by using the high frequency electronic ballasts can reach about 6%, comparing with that of low frequency ones. Thus, it considerably saves the area betaken from the solar energy battery, and reduces the cost.
