characteristics

It is white fine particles or powder, and has a characteristic of crystallization hygroscopic, soluble in water, and water solution shows neutral. Soluble in glycerin, not soluble in alcohol. When exposed to the air, it will absorb one molecules water. High purity and the fine grain without water called sodium sulphate anhydrous. Sodium sulfate can form seven water compound and ten water compound. The seven water compound (Na2SO4 · 7 H2O) is white trapezius crystal, when heated up to *4.4 °C , it will turned into anhydrous compound. When sodium reacted with carbon, it will be reduced to zinc sulfide colloid. It could be used as filling agent for synthetic detergent; used for the manufacturing of chemical products such as sodium sulfide, ultramarine, sodium silicate, etc...

Uses

Used for the production of sulfate pulp in the paper industry; could be used instead of soda ash in the glass industry; used as filling agent for dyestuff industry; used as dyeing assistant in printing and dyeing industry; used as used delay evacuant and antidote barium salt poisoning in the pharmaceutical industry, etc; In addition it could be used in the manufacture of synthetic fiber, leather making , non-ferrous metals, enamels ,soap, etc.
