(Pisum sativum L.) sugar snap are the result of the combination
of at least six recessive genes that control pod characteristics
and grain, and two other genes are being incorporated in modern
cultivars.
Description: An original pea Central Asia.
Its scientific name is Pisum sativum var. Macrocarpum. Known as
snow peas, snow pea, chinnese pea, sugar pea, is a herbaceous
climbing plant that reaches a height of 2 mrs. The fruit is a
flattened pod edible emerald green 5-8 cms., Which occurs 60 days
after germination.
The culture is demanding in soil quality and fertilization with
previous additions of organic matter. The development of
