Alternatively, it can be directly emulsified into a hair care formulation. The high-molecularweight dimethicone provides easy combing and detangling for wet or dry hair, and adds softness, smoothness and gloss.

â‘£. Used as a defoamer for oil-based foaming fluids, it provides effective foam control at extremely small addition levels.

â‘¤. The viscosity of Silicone Fluid should be selected to suit the application, with primary selection criteria including insolubility in the foaming system, working temperature and ease of handling.

â‘¥. Plasticizers may be extracted from some synthetic rubbers or plastic compounds when they are exposed to silicone fluid. This may result in a reduction in volume and weight.

â‘¦. Dont let silicone fluid contact the strong acid, alkali, lead, tin, selenium, tellurium and other substances, which may cause gelation or denaturation, precautions must therefore be taken during handing.
