Non Mandrel Machines represent the top of the range in Ercolina Innovation, owner of a patented non mandrel bending system that has allowed Ercolina to be for *0 years the leading product in the bending market. Ercolina Non Mandrel machines are the best solution for everyone who is looking for heavy structure machinery with high quality bend standards, but easy to handle and with limited budget. Ercolina formers are the most important machine bending equipment, which has undergone many design improvements that confirm the Ercolina patented technology. Besides being produced as a single metal block with no other welded piece attached, Ercolina formers present a particular groove shape, enhanced in *0 years of constant designing to achieve superior quality bends also with small wall thickness tubes and very soft materials. Furthermore, an encoder for measuring former rotation angle is installed to assure bend accuracy up to 1° bend angle. Ercolina control panels are designed for user friendly bend programming. Operating functions are easy to set, all control menu are multi-languages. A brief product training is required for operating Ercolina non mandrel machines. Accuracy and simple operator skills make these machines the optimal choice compared to other very expensive and sophisticated machinery. A complete set of tools is made up of two main components, the former that shapes the curve turning round together with the machine rotating shaft, and the counterbending die (or in particular cases the roll) that is moved towards the profile to block it during the bending phase. To choose the most appropriate set of tooling the main parameters are: type of material profile dimensions (the outside diameters, for round tubes) the required radius.
