Rishichlor is manufactured by chlorination of paraffin hydrocarbons of varying carbon chain lenghts, under carefully controlled conditions. Several grades are available to suit individual requirement. These grades differ in chlorine content, viscosity and specific gravity. The normal grades manufactured are Rishichlor *0, *5, *2, *8, *5, *0, & *0P(powder). where the figures represent the percentage of chlorine. All grades of Rishichlor are suitably stabilized to withstand normal temperature, storage, etc. Because of its low price, special chemical properties and versatility, Rishichlor is used in the most varied branches of mineral oils, plastics, rubber processings, lacquers, surface coating, polysuphide sealants, auxilary substance for leather, textile and metal working.
