Raw Material for Making Pellets

A. Wood waste: sawdust, sharvings, tree branches, leaves, barks, wood offcut from woodworking factory; bamboo, palm fiber, etc

B. Agricultural residues: rice husk, seeds shells, peanut shells, halm, wheat straw, corn stalk, hops, tobacco dross, cotton stalks, alfalfa grass, bagrass, palm fiber, cashew shell, etc

Size: Materials must be crushed into sawdust (less than 8mm)before going into pellet mill,

Smaller size raw material, larger capacity with the pellet machine.

Moisture: Generally, 10-15% is best for quality biomass pellets.

Finished Pellets

The finished biomass pellets is generally about 8-12mm in diameter, and the length is generally 4-5 times of the diameter.
