PVA properties:
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) resin is a polymer. It’s usually a white
or slight yellow flocculent, flake, grnular or powdery solid. Its
molecular formular is (C2H4O)n. It’s non-toxic, insipid,
non-polluting. PVA is a water-soluble resin and has good chemical
stability. It also has good adhesion, film-forming alibility,
insulation, oil resistance, abrasion resistance and gas barrier
properties, and has typical chemical properties of polyols. And
can make esterification, etherification, acetalation reactions.

PVA products have a wide range of uses.

fabric finishing agents, and raw material of vinylon fibers.

emulsifiers, dispersants, and raw materials for the production of
PVF, acetalal and butyral resins.

adhesives.
e. in agriculture, PVA can be used as soil improvers, pesticide
adhesion synergist and PVA film.
f. in petroleum exploitation, PVA can be used as well-fixed
agents.
