Cafco Fendolite MII is a low density
vermiculite cement coating system which is designed to withstand
hydrocarbon-fuelled pool and jet fires of the intensity and
magnitude witnessed in the petrochemical, nuclear and chemical
processing industries.
It is a robust, highly weather-resistant
material for use on external structures, piperacks, process
modules, storage vessels and vessel skirts.
Cafco Fendolite MII, unlike concrete, does not
explosively spall under the aforementioned fire conditions and,
unlike epoxy intumescent materials, is non-combustible, does not
emit toxic fumes in a fire and does not rely on physical or
chemical change in order to protect steel substrates.
