A*1
ACRYLIC WATERPROOFING
PLUSTITE A*1 is a one pack acrylic based high flexible
waterproofing liquid membrane. It has long-life flexibility, UV
resistance and is ideally suited for use in areas with extreme
climatic conditions. PLUSTITE A*1 is available in white, special
colours are available on request.
PROPERTIES: PLUSTITE A*1 is easy applied
waterproofing material with UV resistance, high adhesion
performance, permanent flexibility, long life and vapour
permeability giving outstanding of economy for users. PLUSTITE A*1
is formulated without using of any hazardous components, which
makes material environmentally friendly.
AREA OF USE: PLUSTITE A*1 is developed for
waterproofing most building surfaces such as roofs, facades,
retaining walls, planters, wet room floors like bathrooms or
kitchens and other wet surfaces. It can be applied on most interior
and exterior finishes such a concrete, renders, dry wall panels,
timber, plywood, galvanised and anti-rust applied steel etc.
PREPARATION OF SURFACE: All dust, dirt and foreign
matter should be scraped and brushed away. Also the surfaces
should be free from salts, oil, grease and ridges. Before applying
to old surfaces, ensure the substrate is firm. First wash
down the old surface with a sugar-soap solution, rinse and allow
drying before repairing or applying the primer. Protect all
adjacent surfaces not to be covered. All cracks, chips, voids
and damages should be repaired with PLUSPLAS repair mortars or
PLUSSPAC plasters. Prime the surface with PLUSPRIME.
APPLICATION: Mix well before use. The application
surfaces and area should be over *5°C. Application can be
done in **3 coats, using roller, brush or spray. Â Leave for
dry 3 to 6 hours between coats. Glass fibre mesh is recommended for
the reinforcement of waterproofing layers, especially in the case
of pressurized water, areas in danger of cracking as well as
connections, wall / floor junctions and fillets. Â Clean tools
and equipment with water after use.
 CONSUMPTION: 1.**2.0 kg/m2 in 2
coats, depending on area of use.
HEALTH & SAFETY: Keep out of reach of
children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of
contact with skin, wash down with clean water. In case of
contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and
seek medical advice. Use in a well ventilated area.Â
PACKAGING & STORAGE: PLUSTITE A*1 is supplied
in *0 and 5 kg plastic pails. Store material in a clean dry area,
protected from direct sunlight and extreme heat and cold. Unopened
containers can be stored for *2 months. Use the oldest
material first.
RECYCLING: Empty cans should be recycled or
disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Liquid waste
should be destroyed according to the local regulations. For
packaging recycle type look on a packaging.
