Talc is a mineral called hydrated magnesium silicate. It is an
industrial raw material which is used as a commodity in a wide rage
of applications ie. plastic, paint and coating, rubber and cable,
paper making, ceramic, animal feed etc.
Many different types of plastics are now being replaced by talc
reinforced polypropylene (PP). Talc improves PP rigidity and it is
widely used in automotive applications where vehicle's weight can
be reduce.

The main functions talc is used are for anti-caking, anti-sticking,
thickener, smooth filler, strengthen filler, carrier, lubricant
etc.Â
