A VPN is a private network that uses
a public network (usually the Internet) to connect remote sites or
users together. Instead of using a dedicated, real-world connection
such as leased line, a VPN uses "virtual" connections routed
through the Internet from the company's private network to the
remote site or employee. Onets VPN completely conform to IKE and
IPSEC standard, and support LINUX and windows. On account of the

The VPN product developed by Onets
is a fully integrated security software solution. It supports
various operating systems, including Windows *5, Windows *8,
Windows ***0, Windows NT and Mac OS. To enhance security, Onets
VPN can also be installed together with a firewall via a router
which can be placed in a network security hardware
product.
Internet Key Exchange ("IKE") is a
key component of Internet Protocol Security (“IPSec”), which is a
standard for security at the network or packet-processing layer
of network communication. A big advantage of IPSec is that
security arrangements can be handled without requiring changes to
individual user computers. The two main pieces of IPSec are the
data packet encodings, namely Authentication Header (“AH”) and
Encapsulating Security Payload (“ESP”), and the key exchange
portion, namely Internet Key Exchange (“IKE”). IKE uses keys
associated with the parties, including pre-shared keys,
individual public keys and certificates to authenticate and
establish a session key.Onets is the first company in China to
fully integrate the IKE technology in a VPN and completely take
advantage of IPSec standards. In contrast, other Chinese VPN
products do not fully integrate the IKE technology.
Onets pioneered a point-to-point
VPN product, which supports the host-to-host, host-to-gateway,
gateway-to-gateway, or subnetwork-to-subnetwork security
communication while domestic competitors’ VPN products have
merely implemented the subnetwork-to-subnetwork VPN. A more
comprehensive connection guarantees that all users in the network
are covered and protected by VPN.
With the adoption of
Internet Engineering Task Force (“IETF”) standards, Onets' VPN is
compatible with all other VPN solutions in any network. It is
easier for a Onets VPN user to connect with business partners who
are using different VPN products.
Onets’
VPN supports multiple authentication and encryption algorithms,
including MD5, SHA1, DES, 3DES and AES and Chinese block cipher
algorithms, while other Chinese companies’ VPN solutions only
support subsets of these algorithms.
The VPN can
directly go through a proxy, it works with Windows, Linux and
Detecting System.
