DESCRIPTION
-Â Oat bran is made of high-quality oat
grain. Stalks, impurities and dust are removed by cleaning process
and then oats are dehulled, kiln dried and milled. Â Oat Bran
is light yellow colour.
Oat Bran is the nutritionally healthiest part
of the oat. It contains a lot of proteins, minerals, vitamins and
most of all soluble fibers. It has been discovered that as a part
of balanced diet, the soluble fi-ber, betaglucan, lowers the blood
cholesterol and the amount of the LDL-cholesterol. Betaglucan also
helps lowering the blood sugar and improves the
digestion.
USE -
For bread, rolls, oatmeal cookies, pies etc. It can also be used
for meatloaves or vegetarian food. Suitable also for oat
porridge.
