Power adapter, also known as external power supply, is a power
supply voltage conversion device for small portable electronic
equipment and electronic appliances. It is commonly used in small
electronic products such as mobile phones, LCD monitors and
notebook computers. The function of the power adapter is to convert
the high voltage of **0 volts in the home into a stable low voltage
of about 5 volts to *0 volts that these electronic products can
work, so that they can work normally. The power adapter is
generally composed of shells, transformers, inductors, capacitors,
control ICs, PCB boards and other components. Its working principle
is to convert AC to DC output; it can be divided into wall
adapters and desktop adapters according to the connection
method.
The working principle of the power adapter is as
follows:

transformer.
2. Using 4 diodes, the unidirectional conductivity of the diodes
is used to convert the alternating current into direct current
(the size is changed).
3. Use capacitive filtering to change the DC current with varying
size into a constant DC current.
