New types of rare-earth based surface treatment agent (WOT Series)
 
WOTs can be used for surface treatment of a wide variety of inorganic fine and ultra-fine powers. The treatment of inorganic filter with WOTs can greatly improve the hydrophobicity of filler surface by physical absorption and chemical reaction, which resulting in considerably enhanced compatibility and dispersion of filler in nonpolar polymer matrix. When preparing the polymer/filler composites, the utilizing of WOTs treatment can remarkably enhanced the toughness and processability of polymer composites even at higher filler loading.
 
Features
Greatly improve the hydrophobicity of a wide variety of inorganic fillers, resulting in excellent dispersion of fillers in nonpolar media and polymer matrix.
Significantly enhance mechanical properties and surface gloss of polymer composites.
Increase the inorganic filler loading, and improve the processability of polymer composites at higher filler loading
The WOT is a specific surface treatment agent used for polypropylene (PP), can induced the formation of modification.
