Product Description
NMA is a special
monomer, its molecular structure contains two functional groups,
they are vinyl and methylol. NMA can be copolymerization with
various of vinyl by emulsion copolymerization or solution
copolymerization to gain thermoplasticity polymer. There is
methylol lateral groups in the large molecular chain of the
polymer, so it will be self cross-linking to gain cross-linking
structure polymer under certain condition, no need to add
crosslinking agent. NMA polymer can be cross-linking under normal
temperature drying, if add activator or heating can improve the
speed of cross-linking, various of materials can effectively
promote cross-linking. The methylols of NMA can proceed many
reactions, for example, it can react with acrylamide, alcohol,
phenol, hydroquinone and phosphoric acid under certain condition,
some of reactions have been effectively used.

According to different
requirements by customers, we have manufactured two types of monomers named N-Methylol Acrylamide *8% solution (NMA*8),
ultra-low free aldehyde N-Methylol Acrylamide *8% solution
(NMA**-LF). NMA*8 is easy to use and cheaper, NMA**-LF is suitable
for high requirements products for free formaldehyde.
Product Applications
NMA is an important chemical
material, widely used in various of synthetic high polymer, such as
coating, adhesive, papermaking agents, etc. NMA has huge
application potential for chemical industry and scientific
research.
Storage
Store in
cool place, be far away from heat resource, avoid to shine by
strong light. Heat and light will cause NMA polymerize, especial
for the situation of acid or metal substance is
available.

When the
temperature of NMA water solution is lower than–*0℃, will cause crystal, can use warm
water to slowly heat to make crystal dissolve, crystal won’t be
influence on the quality and performance of NMA, try to avoid to
store beyond *8℃.

Even though in
perfect condition for storage, NMA it is better to be stored
shorter than 3 months.

When NMA solution
may be pollution by extra materials, avoid to open the cover.
Theimplement which used to
extract or hold NMA solution must be clean, avoid to be pollution
by impurity, should tighten the cover immediately after every
use.

Safety and Health
NMA is non-flammable liquid, but
poisonous, be sure not to swallow and inhale, immediately flush
with water when skin touch.
