Calanus copepods are widely distributed in major oceanic areas.
Calanus is a major component in the diet of many marine animals,
having an important role in the maintenance of ecosystems. Millions
of tons are present in the world oceans.
Using patents pending technology, Calanus is carefully harvested

Calanus has a balanced nutritional composition of unsaturated
fatty acids, amino acids, carotenoids including astaxanthin,
vitamins, minerals, essential trace elements and

invertebrates.
Calanus lives in marine waters at the base of the food web,
making it virtually free of pollutants. Calanus contains
