RCY-G Magnetic pulley are can remove ferrous contaminants from a wide range of free-flowing bulk and granular materials in high-volume applications. Wear resistant non-magnetic drum skin. Permanent magnet pulley are built using high intensity non-deteriorating material, so not only is no power required to the magnet, but it will also provide maximum magnetic force for the lifetime of the machine. High permeability iron circuit to minimise stray magnetic fields in shaft and bearings thus prolonging their life. Deep field magnet systems penetrate through the product burden and remove the maximum amount of ferrous metal. This allows for a higher throughput of material to be separated efficiently. All magnet systems are designed to give maximum separation performance with either an alternating pole or continuous pole design depending on the application. Standard Strength Ferrite Magnets: suitable for separating general tramp iron and contamination such as nuts, bolts, nails, steel cans, wire etc. High Intensity Rare Earth Magnets: suitable for removing general tramp iron, weakly magnetic material, fine iron/wire and ferrous metal with inclusions such as wood, rubber, non-ferrous metal etc. The Rare Earth Magnet System is recommended when a maximum level of metal removal is required. The stationary magnetic assembly inside the unit's shell captures tramp metal as the material flow into the drum. Material is typically fed on to the surface of the drum by vibratory feeder or chute work. The magnet system holds ferrous metal to its surface allowing the non-magnetic material to fall away from the drum. Ferrous metal held on the surface is carried by the revolving drum to a position where the magnet system ends and it then drops away from the drum.
