Wecare Strain Number Lactobacillus plantarum Lp90. Description Strains of this species are usually used as starter cultures in several food products and it can be safely consumed. It has high tolerance to gastrointestinal conditions with strong ability to inhibit common pathogens. It may also improve specific immune response and may influence immune regulation. Appearance White to light yellow-colored, free-flowing powder. Potency

Morphology It is a Gram-positive, aerotolerant, rod-shaped bacteria. Its genome is the largest among all lactic acid bacteria and has been fully sequenced. Finished formats Available upon request. Excipients Select from one of the following:

Applications It is commonly used for food fermentation. Examples of food containing Lactobacillus plantarum include yogurt, cheese, pickles, kimchi and sauerkraut.
