  Lithium carbonate, an inorganic compound with chemical formula Li2CO3, is a colorless monoclinic crystal or white powder. The density of 2.*1 g/cm3. Melting point is **8 ºC. Dissolve in dilute acid. Slightly soluble in water, in cold water solubility is greater than under hot water. Insoluble in alcohol and acetone-. Can be used for ceramics, drugs, catalysts and so on. Commonly used lithium ion battery raw materials. Appearance and Properties: colorless monoclinic crystal or white powder.
