HSD ISO*0 ER*2 Tool Holders with Covernut and Retainer Knob
 
 
 
Description:
 
This is a balanced ISO *0 tool holder (cone) that is used for ISO *0 taper systems. All HSD ISO *0 ATC spindles use this cone. The HSD Auto Tool Changer clamping system uses the pull stud at the end to pull the cone precisely into the spindles taper.
 
 
 
ISO*0 ER*2 Toolholder, A=*0mm. Commonly known as ISO*0 for many HSD equipped CNC routers. Balanced to *0,**0 rpm ≦G2.5, includes HSD pull stud and ER*2 collet nut.

Works on all machines that take ISO*0 tooling
 
All critical surfaces precision ground
 
Made from alloy steel hardened to *4 - *6rc
 
Balanced to *0,**0 rpms
 
Concentricity is less than .***1 at collet face
 
Rear thread for pull stud for HSD ATC spindle

Covernuts are used to hold and clamp tools into a spindle. Spindles operate at speeds up to *4,**0 RPM so it is vital that balanced covernuts are used. Tool holders (also called Cones) are used in ATC style systems. All tool holders and covernuts on this website are balanced.
 
Using unbalanced covernuts or tool holders will damage the spindle.
 
Correct installation of the collet and tool is required to avoid damaging tooling, cones, and spindles.
