It is mainly used to improve viscosity, adjust rheology, loss filtrate and enhance inhibition. Recommend to use in polymer drilling fluid systems. HP can be formulated into aqueous solution for use or mixed in drilling fluid directly. Suggest mixing uniformly and slowly or intermittently, to protect from forming slug flow caused by high viscosity of partial drilling fluids. HP should be added timely to keep the inhibition capacity of drilling fluids. Recommend dosage is 0.3% to 1.0%.
