ECM has developed Sun Tracking system HelioArc this system provides the suns position at a given point in time on a location, this system is equipped with GPS and does not require any interface to value of locations, it calibrates itself for location change, with flexibility to add remote monitoring/communication system, this device can then be used to drive motors to rotate solar panels/light applications like curtains, blinds, reflectors etc in only X and X/Y axis. This device does not require any fancy equipment(s) to track sun's position and hence it is really affordable for small/large implementations.
