Features of steel structure
The steel structure is a load-bearing structure composed of steel
plates and hot-rolled steel plates. Compared with the structure of
other materials, it has the following characteristics:
1. The steel structure is small in size and light in weight, which
is convenient for transportation and installation, as well as for
assembly, disassembly and expansion. It is suitable for structures
with large span, high height and heavy load.
2. Steel has high strength and lightweight structure. Compared to
masonry and wood structures, steel is denser but stronger, and
therefore has a smaller density-to-strength ratio. Under the same
load, the steel structure is better than other structures.
3. The steel has high strength, good plasticity and toughness, and
strong shock and vibration resistance.
4. The steel structure has a high degree of industrialization,
factory manufacturing, on-site installation, high machining
accuracy, short manufacturing cycle, high production efficiency,
and fast construction speed; steel structure buildings have strong
platform structures, roof structures, tall background walls, etc. ,
the sense of time and the changeable appearance are very suitable
for expressing the designer's imagination.
5. Residual materials, scraps and discarded and damaged steel
structures generated during the processing and manufacturing of
steel structures can be re-smelted into steel materials for reuse.
Therefore, steel is called green building material or sustainable
material.
Steel warehouse building VS ordinary building:
The cost of steel structure warehouse is usually lower than that of
ordinary buildings. The construction process of prefabricated steel
structures is usually not so easy to delay the construction period
of other buildings. All drilling, cutting, welding is done at the
factory and the parts are shipped to the job site for installation.
Since only the parts are assembled on site, there is little
additional cost.
Moreover, the assembly technical requirements of this steel
structure prefabricated warehouse are not high. Almost anyone can
do it, reducing labor costs and saving time.
The steel warehouse building was quickly assembled. The
construction of ordinary buildings takes at least a few months. To
build a warehouse of the same scale, the construction period of a
steel structure warehouse is only 1/3 of that of other buildings.
In addition to the short construction time, such steel buildings
are generally cheaper than ordinary buildings.
