Green Terra mesh is an environmental gabion type used for erosionÂ
control for rivers, shorelines and streambanks and reinforced soilÂ
slope for roads, residential areas. They provide immediate andÂ
long-term erosion control and create conditions for plant establishment.
Green Terra mesh used to make the water speed slower near theÂ
bank and trap sediment. It consists of base
(A),Â
reinforced hexagonal wire mesh gabion(B),Â
coconut fiber blanket(C), welded mesh panel(D),Â
Triangle bracket(E), pre-formed steel strut(F).
The base is made of a single length of galvanized,Â
galfan(zinc-aluminium alloy) or PVC coated hexagonalÂ
wire mesh boxes with an *5 or *0 degree inclined face,Â
along with a bio-degradable or synthetic blanket on theÂ
facing and filled with a mix of stone and topsoil.Â
The heavy blanket has a durability of 3 to 5 years thatÂ
allows vegetation establishment.Â
The integrated vegetation provides a high resistance and durabilityÂ
of the structure. The development of root systems, it enhances theÂ
resistance of soil provide an important structure.Â
Live staking and brush layering are two general soil bioengineeringÂ
techniques use with Green Terra mesh to enhance the reinforcementÂ
ability of vegetation.Â

DELIVERYÂ OFÂ PRODUCTÂ
1 Before load the Green Terra mesh units in container, we fold,Â
bundled by iron wire and compress them to save space.
2 We put the goods in bulk in container or in pallet for moreÂ
expediently handling.
3 A label can be added with each bundle which identify the size
 of the units.
4 Lacing wire is supplied in coils.Â
Ring fasteners are packed in boxes.

ASSEMBLYÂ
When assemble the folded Green Terra mesh after take it fromÂ
the bundle, you should put it on a hard flat surface. The GreenÂ
Terra mesh units shall be opened, unfolded and pressed out toÂ
their original shape. When you open the folded units, there will beÂ
one or two shipping folds. After you place it on a board and walkÂ
along the side, they will be removed. Â

FIXINGÂ GUIDE
When using lacing wire, cut off a piece of wire about 1,5 timesÂ
length of the edge to be tied. The maximum length of the edge toÂ
be tied at one time shall not exceed 1 m. Longer edges shall beÂ
joined by several lengths of wire.
Lacing wires shall be secured around the selvedge wire or heavierÂ
edge wire, where present, by looping and twisting the lacing wireÂ
around itself. Proceed tying with alternate double and single loops.Â
Double loops shall be made at intervals not greater than **0 mm.Â
All panels shall be pulled tightly together during the tying operation.Â
Pliers may be used to create tight joints. The other end of the lacingÂ
wire shall be secured by again looping and twisting the wire aroundÂ
itself.Â

FOUNDATIONÂ PREPARATION
The foundation on which the Green Terra mesh units are to be placedÂ
shall be level and graded to the elevations as shown on the projectÂ
construction drawings, and free of surface irregularities, loose materialÂ
and vegetation in accordance with the project specifications.
