Supplementing with barley grass help improve fertility and foal health for broodmares on pastures with poor-quality grazing. Recovery time after a hard workout is lessened for horses fed barley grass, and hoof quality and strength is imporved. Sheep and goats display imporved digestion and health as well as good weight gain on porr quality pasture.
